Box Office Hours Our box office opens 30 minutes before the first show of the day. If the first show time of the day is in the Starlight Room, then the box office opens 45 minutes before the first show. 

Methods of Payment Tickets may be purchased by using one of the following methods of payment: cash, check (within Jefferson County), VISA and MasterCard.

Methods of Purchase You may purchase tickets for events online or in person at the box office as soon as we advertise them for sale. Tickets are not available over the phone. All tickets are subject to availability. If a ticket is lost, tickets can be re-issued only if they were purchased with a credit card.

Disability Aids & Access If you are concerned about disabled access to any of our three auditoriums please ask. All three venues are handicapped accessible. The upstairs restroom at the Rose near the concession is handicapped accessible. The downstairs restrooms are not handicapped accessible. The two restrooms in the Starlight Room are handicapped accessible.

A request to reserve a space for a wheelchair and one companion seat can be made by calling our office. Reserving this space may be made 5 days before the show you wish to attend. If you reach the office recording, please leave your name, phone number, and the name of the show and show time. If we have any questions we’ll call you back that day.

*Our assistive devices in the Rose Theatre and Starlight Room include the following:
Closed caption readers for both auditoriums, and headsets that include both hearing amplification and an audio description for  sight-impaired individuals.

*Not all movies and presentations are produced with captions. Many independent movies and the National Theatre of London for example do not come with captions.

Service animals are welcome. We request that you be mindful of the fire department code which requires that aisles and walkways remain clear at all times.

Admission Every member of the audience must have purchased a ticket. We strictly enforce and request identification for admission to R-rated and NC-17 movies. We reserve the right to request that a patron leave the theatre if in the manager’s judgment their conduct is likely to disrupt the show or disturb other persons in attendance.

Tickets Please check your tickets carefully to be certain that you have the correct date and show time. Regular movie tickets may be refunded or exchanged for another show at any point up to show time for which the tickets were originally purchased. We do not issue refunds or swap tickets after that time and date. Refunds for online purchases do not include the online service fee.

When purchasing tickets online, today’s date will be the only date visible. Be sure to click Show Future Dates if you want to attend a showing other than today. Once you have purchased tickets online you may head directly into the Rose Theatre or Starlight Room. You will need to present to the ticket tearer one of the following: a) a print-out of the purchase confirmation, b) the ticket confirmation on your smartphone, c) the credit card used to make the purchase.

Tickets for special events such as the National Theatre of London, Metropolitan Opera simulcasts, and the Ballet in Cinema series cannot be refunded less than 7 days before each event. There is a $5.00 service charge applied to each refunded ticket.  If you have tickets to one of the above events, and discover less than 7 days before the event that you will not be able to attend, we will glady exchange it for another play, opera or ballet.

Cancellations We reserve the right to alter, vary or cancel a show due to events or circumstances beyond our control. We will do our best to exchange tickets for an alternate performance where possible, or will issue a refund if requested.

Gift Cards Rose Theatre gift cards are available for purchase in our online Shop in denominations of $15, $40, $75 and $100, or may be purchased at the box office for for any amount between $10 and $200. Rose gift cards may be used for Rose Theatre admission, concessions, merchandise and for streaming movies (beginning in February 2021). Gift cards intended for admission MUST be redeemed for actual tickets at the box offce before entering the theatre. Starlight Room gift cards are available for puchase in our online Shop in denominations of $15, $40, $75 and $100, or at the box office for any amount between $10 and $200. Starlight Room gift cards may only be used for admission, and must be redeemed at the box office for actual tickets before entering the Starlight. Gift certificates may not used for online purchases. Rose Theatre and Starlight Room gift cards are nontransferable. Rose Theatre gift cards may only be used at the Rose Theatre, and Starlight Room gift certificates may only be used at the Starlight Room.

The Starlight Room is a partnership with the Silverwater Café. Except for the fabulous Rose popcorn served in that third floor venue, all food and bar drinks are prepared by the Silverwater Café. They sell Starlight Room gift certificates for food and drink purchases in both the Starlight Room and the Silverwater Café.

Lost or stolen gift certificates cannot be replaced.
