This Week’s Movie Reviews
Pavarotti

Ron Howard's highly acclaimed new documentary PAVAROTTI opens for a regular engagement at the Rose on June 28th, but we're having a free sneak preview for Rose Theatre members this Saturday, June 22nd at noon. Each member may also bring one guest. Only 26 tickets remaining, and they are only available at the box office.

THE BIGGEST LITTLE FARM and THE SERENGETI RULES are both returning for two shows this Saturday and Sunday. FARM plays in the Rosebud, and SERENGETI in the Starlight Room. ROCKETMAN ends this Thursday, while both LATE NIGHT and THE DEAD DON'T DIE will be holding over for another week. The business of movie sequels is often sketchy, but judging by reviews, Pixar's TOY STORY 4 has succeeded on all accounts. Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) is the same pull-string cowboy sheriff that Andy fell in love with years ago. And Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) returns for more adventures as well, along with Bo Peep (Annie Potts), Gabby Gabby (Christina Hendricks), Bunny (Jordan Peele), and Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves). "TOY STORY 4 delivers a cinematic grand slam, a nine-years-later sequel that's wholly equal to the high expectations raised by the terrific trio that it follows." -CNN.com --Rocky
