The Rose is the only theatre in the country to play JONI 75: A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION for a week-long engagement. Originally billed as a one-night event at theatres across the country, fans turned out in force in Port Townsend - despite the snow - for this great tribute to singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell. One night turned into four sold-out showings, and now the distributor has given permission for a week-long run. It opens Friday in the Rose, and ticket pricing remains the same: $10 Rose members, $15 non-members.

SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE and STOP MAKING SENSE - both in the Starlight - are sold out, but tickets are still available for our Classics Night presentation next Wednesday (2/20), of THE MISFITS, starring Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Eli Wallach and Montgomery Clift, and directed by John Huston. It was the last screen appearance for both Monroe and Gable.
ON THE BASIS OF SEX concludes today (2/13), and the OSCAR NOMINATED SHORT FILMS conclude this Thursday (2/14).
Saturday is the last presentation of THE TRAGEDY OF KING RICHARD II from the National Theatre of London. And Sunday the Bolshoi Ballet presents LA BAYADERE.
