Dance on Camera Tour

Tickets and passes are now on sale for our second DANCE ON CAMERAfestival, March 9th and 10th. In addition to another great line-up of short and feature films from dancers and choreographers around the world, two esteemed guests will be joining us from New York. Dancer and choreographer Trey McIntyre has worked for more than 25 years as a freelance choreographer, producing more than 100 pieces during the span of his career. His works have been performed by companies around the world including Stuttgart Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Queensland Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, New York City Ballet, BalletX, The Washington Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet. He brings to the Rose his new feature-length documentary GRAVITY HERO, an introspective piece about the decision to close his highly acclaimed dance company.

Our other accomplished guest is Tiler Peck, the principal ballerina with the New York City Ballet. Her repertoire includes works by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Susan Stroman, Christopher Wheeldon, Peter Martins and Justin Peck. Among the most famous ballets she has performed are Jewels, The Nutcracker, Raymonda Variations, La Sylphide, Rome and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Peck is the focus of the new documentary BALLET NOW, and is also seen in NY EXPORT: OPUS JAZZ.

Steve Coogan and John C. Reilly create absolute magic together in STAN & OLLIE, as the great comedy team, Laurel and Hardy. Diminished by age, and with their golden era as the kings of Hollywood comedy now behind them, they face an uncertain future. As the charm and beauty of their performances shine through, they reconnect with their adoring fans. "Endearing and remarkable." -IndieWire
